Site Development Lead

You’ll find and develop the sites that host Ample’s compute infrastructure. You’ll report to the COO and build how we take a site from first look to ready-to-build.

What you’ll do

• Identify and screen sites suitable for hosting Ample compute infrastructure
• Diligence partner-originated sites for power, land, zoning and interconnection
• Work with utilities, AHJs and engineering partners to start early-stage site development
• Build the site pipeline, and later the development team

What we’re looking for

• A track record developing data center, energy or other power-intensive sites
• Working knowledge of utility interconnection, permitting and AHJ processes
• Comfortable running many sites in parallel, from first screen through early development
• Strong judgment on which sites are real, which are risky, and what has to be true before we commit
